Crimson Property Management is run by capable, compassionate property managers who strive to improve each property with customized focus.

The company was founded by Pamela Day is an accomplished entrepreneur whom you may recognize from NBC’s The Apprentice or CNBC’s Power Lunch. She has built several successful companies from the ground up, including Crimson Holdings, a family of real estate companies and funds.

The Crimson Companies include four closed-end real property opportunity funds, and Crimson Advisors, the General Partner and investment manager of those funds. Ms. Day currently serves as the Managing Partner for Crimson Fund Advisors and Investment Manager for all Crimson Funds and individual investments. She has managed the firm’s investments and investment strategy since its inception in 2002.

Ms. Day built a background in real estate and finance as an investment banker with several top-tier Wall Street firms where she performed advisory and underwriting work for a broad array of real estate-related transactions. As a Senior Associate at BancBoston Robertson Stephens, she specialized in valuation work for private REIT portfolio acquisitions, and at UBS PaineWebber, she valued and took public REITs and Homebuilder equity new issues as well as supervised their placement in equity capital markets. During this period, Ms. Day capitalized billions of dollars of public and private real estate transactions and underwrote over 30 new equity issues, including PaineWebber’s then largest lead-managed IPO for a regional-mall REIT.

Previously, Ms. Day founded and served as CEO of Blazent Corp, an enterprise software company backed by such top-tier investors as Benchmark Capital and Pequot Capital. Blazent now has offices in the Bay Area, Denver, Dallas, Minneapolis, Boston and New York. During her tenure as CEO, Ms. Day was awarded the Trailblazer Award by the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs as one of the only female founders able to raise significant funds during 2001-2002. Since 1999, Ms. Day has raised over $150 MM in private equity funds.

Ms. Day holds a BA in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is NASD series 7 and 63 licensed and holds a California Real Estate Broker License. Ms. Day sits on the Board of the Harvard Alumni Association of Southern California, is a Luminary Circle Member of Step-Up Women’s Network, is the Founder of the Pamela Day Foundation for Women, and sits on the Advisory Board of Revo, a Financial Processing company. Ms. Day has been a featured business commentator on NBC’s Today Show, CNBC’s Power Lunch, ABC’s The View, and Fox News.
